How the Digital Vault works.

A private tab inside your Online Will Maker account where you keep every document your executor and heirs will need — encrypted, organised, and released only through probate.

We hear the same story often: a will exists, but the title deed, the insurance policy, or the High Court receipt does not — lost to a crashed computer, a flood, a fire, or simply misplaced paperwork. The Vault exists so that never happens to your family.

From upload to probate

Four steps, and your family never has to search for a crucial document again.

01

Add a document

Upload a scan, PDF, or photo.

From the My Vault tab, add a document, give it a name and a short description, and drop the file in. Anything up to 25 MB — scanned deeds, signed policies, or a private letter.

02

File it under a category

So your executor can find it fast.

Every document is filed under one category: Will & probate, Ownership & deeds, Insurance, Identity, Practical, or Personal. Your vault stays organised as it grows.

03

It is encrypted on your device

Nobody at Remembers Group can read it.

Each file is encrypted with your key before it leaves your device. While you are alive, the document is yours alone — not visible to us, and not visible to your executor.

04

Released when the High Court grants probate

Exactly when it is needed, not before.

Your executor gets access the day the High Court grants probate — not a day earlier. From then on, they and your named heirs can see and download everything they need to settle the estate.

Computer crash
A laptop dies with the only scanned copy on it.
Flood or fire
Paper originals kept at home are damaged or destroyed.
Simply misplaced
No one remembers where the deposit receipt was filed.
Why the vault exists

A will is only as useful as the documents that back it up.

People tell us the same thing: a title deed was on a laptop that crashed. An insurance policy was in a drawer that flooded. A High Court receipt was misfiled and never found again. The will survived — the proof behind it did not.

The Vault keeps that proof safe in one encrypted place, so a crash, a flood, or a fire cannot cost your family the paperwork they need to settle your estate.

Security & release

Private while you live. Accessible the moment it’s needed.

Every file is encrypted with your key. While you’re alive, no one at Remembers Group can see what’s inside — not your executor, not us.

Access unlocks in one place: the day the High Court grants probate. From then on, your executor and heirs see exactly what they need — no earlier, no less.
